About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential industrial technology client in their search for a Product Manager – Android Integration & Ecosystem. Our client is a market leader in wearable enterprise technology, and they're evolving their platform to integrate more deeply within the broader Android ecosystem serving frontline workers.

This is a strategic product role based in Munich, where you'll define how wearable industrial devices connect, integrate, and create value within enterprise Android environments. You'll transform recurring integration challenges into scalable product capabilities—ensuring adoption happens smoothly rather than through custom engineering every time.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the product strategy for enterprise Android integration and ecosystem capabilities, aligned with customer needs and commercial objectives
• Work directly with customers, sales teams, and solution architects to identify recurring problems and distinguish scalable opportunities from one-off requests
• Translate integration needs into repeatable product features: APIs, SDKs, documentation, deployment tools, and integration patterns
• Shape product experiences around device provisioning, application distribution, fleet management, and setup workflows required for large-scale deployments
• Make pragmatic build-vs-partner decisions, balancing customer value, strategic control, speed, scalability, and technical complexity
• Identify critical platforms, applications, standards, and ecosystem partners; shape integrations, certifications, and strategic partnerships
• Explore opportunities where integration capabilities and ecosystem propositions can create differentiated value and support recurring revenue
• Partner closely with engineering and device product teams to align on customer problems, priorities, trade-offs, and desired outcomes
• Enable customer-facing teams to clearly articulate Android capabilities, supported integrations, and common deployment scenarios
• Maintain awareness of enterprise Android, AOSP, enterprise mobility, and AI developments; translate relevant trends into strategic product priorities

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Strong product management experience in B2B or enterprise technology, with demonstrated ability to define strategy, discover customer problems, and build scalable products
• Commercially minded approach connecting product decisions to customer value, differentiation, and business impact
• Comfort working with enterprise software, platforms, connected devices, integrations, or technology ecosystems
• Technical depth sufficient to understand architecture, interfaces, and trade-offs; ability to contribute credibly to platform discussions
• Systems thinking: ability to look beyond immediate requests to identify patterns and design simple, repeatable solutions
• End-to-end ownership mentality; effectiveness in ambiguous or evolving product spaces
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across product, engineering, sales, and external partners
• Clear communication style; ability to make complex technical and commercial topics accessible to diverse audiences
• Curiosity about customers, business dynamics, and emerging technologies; assumption-testing rather than technology-for-its-own-sake mindset
• Pragmatic judgment balancing speed, simplicity, quality, and long-term value
• Fluent English; comfortable in international working environments

Valuable but not required:

• Enterprise Android, AOSP, or related Android ecosystem experience, particularly outside standard Google Mobile Services environments
• Enterprise mobility management (MDM/EMM), device provisioning, application deployment, or fleet management background
• Rugged/industrial devices, IoT, edge devices, or B2B hardware ecosystem experience
• API, SDK, developer experience, or enterprise integration expertise
• Platform/ecosystem strategy, technology partnerships, certification programs, or partner ecosystem development
• Direct experience with enterprise customers deploying technology at scale
