Procurement Specialist

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential aerospace manufacturing organization based in Germany that is scaling rapidly. Our talent team is seeking a Procurement Specialist to take ownership of purchasing activities, supplier relationships, and contract coordination across a fast-moving industrial environment.

In this hands-on role, you will manage end-to-end procurement processes, build scalable systems for a growing operation, and work closely with engineering, operations, finance, and quality teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities from requirements gathering through quotations, purchase orders, and delivery follow-up
• Build and maintain supplier relationships, support commercial negotiations, and monitor supplier performance
• Coordinate supplier contracts, documentation, renewals, and resolve commercial issues as they arise
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate across finance, operations, engineering, and quality functions to meet organizational needs
• Help establish standardized procurement processes as the function matures and scales
• Support the implementation and use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations

What We're Looking For

• Proven procurement experience in an industrial, manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, defense, or similar high-stakes environment
• Hands-on experience managing suppliers, purchasing materials or services, and supporting commercial negotiations
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to operational and supplier-related challenges
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills

Desirable:

• Experience using an ERP system such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics
• Background in procurement process improvement, ERP implementation, or structured procurement controls
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment and building scalable processes from the ground up

Pay

This is a full-time position based in Germany. The client offers equity participation and performance bonuses. Please note that the role is structured around a 48-hour working week with expectations for extended hours, high autonomy, and ownership.
