Neumayer Equipment is hiring a full-time Petroleum Service Technician in Cape Girardeau, Cape Girardeau County, Missouri. Join our service team and support the petroleum and energy industry across the Cape Girardeau area by maintaining and servicing critical equipment at customer locations.

About the Role

As a Petroleum Service Technician with Neumayer Equipment, you'll be the technical backbone keeping petroleum and energy operations running smoothly. You'll travel to various job sites throughout the Cape Girardeau region to perform hands-on maintenance, repairs, and service work on specialized equipment. This is a full-time position offering direct impact on our clients' operations and the opportunity to build expertise in a mission-critical industry.

What You'll Do

• Travel to customer locations throughout Cape Girardeau and surrounding areas to diagnose, maintain, and repair petroleum service equipment
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment operates at peak performance
• Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
• Document service work accurately and maintain detailed records for each site visit
• Communicate equipment status and service recommendations clearly to customers and management
• Follow all safety protocols and industry best practices on job sites

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a service technician, maintenance technician, or similar hands-on technical role
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose equipment problems
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for traveling between job sites
• Willingness to learn petroleum and energy industry equipment and operations
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple service calls
