Personal Trainer, Bishopsgate

Equinox is seeking a dedicated Personal Trainer for our Bishopsgate location in London, England, GB. This is a full-time, in-person role offering the opportunity to transform clients' fitness journeys at one of London's premier fitness facilities.

Position Summary

As a Personal Trainer at Equinox Bishopsgate, you'll deliver world-class fitness coaching to our diverse clientele in the heart of London. You'll combine exercise expertise with genuine care for each client's progress, designing and delivering tailored training programmes that achieve real results. Your role extends beyond sessions: you'll build lasting relationships, inspire confidence, and be instrumental in our clients' health transformations.

Core Duties

• Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments and movement screening to understand each client's needs, goals, and limitations
• Design personalised training programmes aligned to individual objectives, whether strength, cardio, weight management, or sport-specific performance
• Deliver motivating one-on-one and small group training sessions, ensuring perfect form and progressive challenge
• Monitor client progress through regular assessments, adjusting programmes as fitness levels improve
• Provide expert guidance on exercise technique, training principles, and safe movement patterns
• Maintain detailed client records and communicate progress updates to ensure accountability and engagement
• Foster a supportive, inclusive training environment that encourages long-term commitment to fitness

Skills & Qualifications

• Current personal training qualification at Level 2 or Level 3 standard, or internationally equivalent certification
• First aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Strong knowledge of exercise science, biomechanics, and training methodologies
• Excellent communication and motivational skills with ability to explain concepts clearly to all fitness levels
• Proven ability to build genuine client relationships and adapt coaching style to individual personalities
• Professional, reliable approach with strong time management and attention to detail
