About This Position
Equinox is seeking an accomplished Personal Trainer to work at our London location, empowering members to achieve their fitness ambitions through expert guidance, innovative programming, and motivational coaching. This full-time role places you at the heart of our club's fitness community, working with a diverse membership base and collaborating with our world-class team of fitness professionals. You'll be integral to maintaining Equinox's reputation for excellence in personal training and member experience.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough fitness assessments and deliver one-on-one personal training sessions customised to each member's goals
- Design progressive, evidence-based workout programmes addressing strength, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, and functional movement
- Provide expert form correction, technique coaching, and real-time motivation throughout each session
- Monitor member progress, adjust training protocols based on performance data, and celebrate fitness milestones
- Maintain a safe, professional training environment whilst ensuring proper equipment usage and injury prevention
- Build meaningful relationships with clients to foster long-term engagement and loyalty within the club
- Collaborate with other trainers, nutrition specialists, and club management to optimise the member experience
What You Bring
- Recognised personal training qualification such as Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training or equivalent professional certification
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Demonstrated experience working as a personal trainer or fitness coach in a club or studio setting
- Solid understanding of exercise physiology, biomechanics, nutrition, and fitness programme design
- Outstanding communication, listening, and motivational skills
- A genuine passion for fitness and commitment to helping others transform their health
- Professional demeanour, reliability, and a drive to continuously develop your craft
