Payments Product Manager

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential SaaS procurement platform serving over 1,000 organizations across 80+ countries. This is a fully remote Payments Product Manager role where you'll own the payments infrastructure that powers purchasing workflows for a globally distributed customer base.

You'll have end-to-end ownership of payment provider integrations, transaction processing architecture, and the strategic roadmap for scaling payments across diverse markets. This is a high-autonomy role—our client values initiative, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive outcomes without heavy oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own the payments product area from discovery through delivery, launch, and ongoing optimization
• Map customer payment workflows across global markets and translate insights into a prioritized, ROI-driven roadmap
• Build and maintain integrations with payment providers, ensuring reliability, security, and compliance across jurisdictions
• Coordinate across engineering, customer success, marketing, sales, and external payment partners to enable new markets and payment methods
• Define success metrics and use data to identify friction points, measure adoption impact, and drive revenue outcomes
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with clear documentation, sharp prioritization, and a quality-first shipping culture

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 3–5+ years as a Product Manager with a proven track record shipping payment features or integrations end-to-end
• Hands-on experience building or scaling payment integrations from scratch (routing, PSP/acquirer integrations, virtual cards, ACH, or cross-border payments)
• Strong technical fluency working with APIs and integrations, including error handling, versioning, reconciliation, and partner limitations
• Critical thinking and comfort navigating ambiguous, multi-layered problems without clear shortcuts
• Excellent stakeholder management skills—able to align internal teams and external partners around a shared vision
• Experience using data to inform decisions, comfortable writing SQL queries or using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) for KPI analysis

Nice to Have:

• Experience with B2B SaaS or API-first product development
• Familiarity integrating AI tools into day-to-day product workflows
