About the Role

As a Patient Registration Representative, you are often the first point of contact for patients seeking medical services. Your role is essential in gathering accurate information, verifying insurance eligibility, and ensuring a smooth, welcoming check-in experience. Based on-site at our Austin medical center, you'll support clinical operations through consistent, reliable service during your assigned weekly schedule.

What You'll Do

• Greet patients with professionalism and warmth while managing high-volume registration activity
• Collect and verify demographic and medical history information with accuracy
• Confirm insurance coverage, process eligibility checks, and explain patient financial responsibility
• Answer patient questions regarding registration, insurance, and appointment logistics
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient health information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
• Work collaboratively with clinical teams to enable timely patient flow and minimize wait times
• Identify and resolve registration errors or incomplete records promptly
• Navigate electronic health record systems and medical center software platforms efficiently
