Patient Acquisition Specialist

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential telehealth organization that is expanding access to mental healthcare. We are seeking a Patient Acquisition Specialist who will serve as the critical first point of contact for individuals seeking support through partner clinic referrals.

This role combines empathy with goal-oriented performance. You will help prospective patients navigate the process of scheduling their first appointment, answering questions, building trust, and guiding people through what can be an overwhelming first step toward care.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial contact for new clients referred from partner clinics, helping them feel comfortable and supported
• Guide prospective patients through the appointment booking process, explaining availability, insurance coverage, and next steps
• Conduct proactive outreach via phone, text, and email to follow up with referrals and maintain momentum in the scheduling process
• Build rapport and thoughtfully address concerns or hesitations that may prevent someone from starting care
• Manage high-volume workflows including inbound and outbound communications, cancellations, reschedules, and follow-ups across multiple systems
• Meet booking targets and performance goals that ensure timely follow-up for prospective patients
• Maintain professionalism and empathy across all written and verbal communications

What We're Looking For

• Bilingual Spanish required
• 1 to 2 years of experience in sales, call centers, mental health settings, or customer-facing sales roles
• Motivated by reaching and exceeding performance goals
• Sales-minded approach that is proactive but not pushy
• Fast-thinking and adaptable in dynamic environments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Empathetic and comfortable speaking with individuals who may feel nervous or uncertain
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple systems and conversations simultaneously
• Experience with scheduling or CRM tools such as HubSpot is helpful
• Familiarity with HIPAA and strong commitment to patient privacy
• Flexibility to work weekends when needed
