About the Role

This part-time veterinary position offers meaningful work focused on compassionate end-of-life care. You'll provide in-home euthanasia services and hospice consultations, allowing pets to spend their final moments in the comfort of their own homes, surrounded by the people and places they love. As our practice expands across Richmond, Henrico, Glen Allen, and Chesterfield, we need experienced veterinarians committed to our values of compassion, dignity, and respect.

What You'll Do

• Perform gentle, at-home euthanasia procedures with the highest standards of medical and emotional care
• Conduct compassionate end-of-life consultations with pet families
• Provide hospice guidance and palliative care recommendations
• Build trusting relationships with families during their most difficult moments
• Maintain detailed, thorough medical records and care documentation
• Manage your own schedule as a part-time veterinarian around your availability and patient needs

What We're Looking For

• Valid Virginia veterinary license in good standing
• Experience with euthanasia procedures or a strong commitment to developing expertise in this specialty
• Genuine compassion for pets and their families during end-of-life care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Richmond, Virginia area
