Outside Sales Rep

Join UR as an Outside Sales Representative in West Mifflin, PA, and drive revenue growth through direct client engagement. This is a full-time, in-person position where you'll develop and manage a dedicated sales territory, building lasting relationships with customers and closing deals that matter.

About the Role

As an Outside Sales Rep at UR, you'll be the face of our company in the West Mifflin area and surrounding region. Your primary focus is to identify qualified prospects, pitch our solutions, and win new business while nurturing existing account relationships. You'll operate with ownership of your territory and accountability for results, spending significant time in the field conducting site visits, hosting product demonstrations, and negotiating terms with decision-makers across diverse industries.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify leads within your assigned territory through cold outreach, networking, and referrals
• Conduct product presentations and needs assessments for prospective clients
• Prepare detailed sales proposals and quotes tailored to customer requirements
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales objectives
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts to drive repeat business and upsell opportunities
• Track sales activities, pipeline metrics, and customer interactions using CRM systems
• Collaborate with the internal team to ensure successful order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
• Stay current on product offerings, competitive positioning, and industry trends

Requirements

• Proven track record of success in outside sales or a similar customer-facing, revenue-generating role
• Strong prospecting and closing skills with a consultative, solution-focused approach
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the drive to exceed sales targets
• Ability to manage your time effectively and prioritize accounts
• Comfort with technology and proficiency using CRM, email, and productivity tools
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for extensive field travel in the West Mifflin, PA region
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
