Inside Sales Rep

UR is hiring an Inside Sales Rep in Wallingford, Connecticut. In this full-time role, you'll connect with customers, understand their needs, and close sales in a customer-focused, fast-paced environment.

What This Role Involves

As an Inside Sales Rep at UR, you'll be the voice of our company—engaging with prospects and customers through phone, email, and web-based communication. Your primary focus will be converting leads into long-term client relationships by presenting tailored solutions, addressing questions, and navigating customers through the sales process. You'll own your pipeline, manage your time independently, and contribute to your team's overall sales goals.

Your Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming leads and qualify opportunities using a consultative sales approach
• Conduct needs assessments to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions
• Present products and services clearly, highlighting value and addressing objections
• Negotiate terms and close sales transactions
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and keep customer information current
• Follow up with leads and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve issues and deliver results
• Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and key performance metrics

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related sales role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
• Proficiency with CRM software and standard business tools
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a busy environment
• Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and resilience in the face of rejection
• Problem-solving ability and genuine interest in understanding customer needs
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
