Position Summary

As an Owner Operator with House of Trucking, you'll haul freight across the country on your own terms. We partner with experienced truckers who want to run an independent operation while benefiting from steady load availability and transparent compensation. There are no truck restrictions—bring the equipment that works for your operation.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Haul freight across state lines, averaging 3,000 miles per week
• Select and manage loads to optimize your profitability and route efficiency
• Maintain vehicle safety standards and pass regular inspections to earn safety bonuses
• Operate Samsara ELD equipment with integrated front-facing camera for compliance tracking
• Coordinate with dispatch for load assignments and delivery schedules
• Monitor operational costs including fuel, maintenance, and trailer rental
• Create and manage your own hometime schedule around freight availability

Skills & Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with proven OTR driving experience
• Clean driving record and willingness to pass pre-hire drug screening
• Flexible availability to complete orientation via phone or online on your preferred schedule
• Experience or willingness to learn Samsara ELD and camera technology
• Strong independent judgment and cost-management skills
• Full-time commitment to the road with adaptable hometime based on load availability

You'll be paid every Friday for the week's work (Monday–Sunday cycle), giving you predictable income and the independence to build your own business.
