About the Role
This full-time position offers the opportunity to build and expand clinical expertise in rheumatology while working Monday through Friday. You'll work as part of a respected medical group within Connecticut's largest healthcare system, where your clinical judgment and dedication to patient care make a measurable difference.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations and assessments for patients presenting with rheumatologic conditions
- Provide follow-up consultations and ongoing disease management for established patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical evidence and patient needs
- Collaborate with rheumatologists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain thorough, accurate clinical documentation and medical records
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement and positive clinical outcomes
What We're Looking For
- Current Connecticut licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Solid clinical foundation in rheumatology and autoimmune disease management
- Strong communication and patient engagement abilities
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional growth
- Ability to work independently while fostering teamwork and collaboration across disciplines
