About the Role
As a Clinical Nurse 1, you'll deliver compassionate, evidence-based patient care in our specialized stroke unit, working collaboratively with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to provide exceptional outcomes for patients experiencing acute cerebrovascular events.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care and continuous monitoring in the stroke unit
- Assess patient status and respond to clinical changes following established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on evidence-based stroke care strategies
- Maintain detailed, accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Support clinical excellence through participation in unit-based initiatives and continuous learning
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program
- Current Pennsylvania RN licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Recent nursing graduate or early-career nurse seeking mentorship and clinical growth
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
