Join Penn Medicine as a Registered Nurse (RN) on our 6 EW Cardiac Telemetry unit in Bausman, Lancaster County. This part-time night shift position offers the opportunity to deliver specialized cardiac patient care within one of the region's leading academic medical centers.
About the Role
As a Cardiac Telemetry Nurse on 6 EW, you'll provide focused nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. Working the night shift, you'll be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional care while collaborating with cardiologists, intensivists, and other clinical professionals to support optimal patient outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Monitor patients on continuous cardiac telemetry and respond promptly to arrhythmias and clinical changes
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and deliver skilled nursing interventions
- Manage care for patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions
- Communicate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members regarding patient status
- Provide compassionate patient and family education about cardiac conditions and recovery
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care and clinical events
- Support a safe, collaborative environment that advances Penn Medicine's mission of excellence
What We're Looking For
- Current RN licensure in Pennsylvania
- Strong clinical knowledge of cardiac nursing and telemetry monitoring
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively during night shift hours
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based nursing practice
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
