EY is hiring a Vulnerability Analyst to join our cybersecurity team in William Penn Annex East, Philadelphia County. This is a full-time position for a security-focused professional ready to identify, assess, and communicate security risks in complex IT environments.
About the Role
As a Vulnerability Analyst with EY, you'll play a critical role in protecting enterprise systems and data. Working across our Philadelphia County office, you'll conduct security assessments, discover system weaknesses, and help our clients and internal teams strengthen their defenses against evolving cyber threats.
What You'll Do
- Execute vulnerability scans and penetration testing on networks, applications, and infrastructure using industry-standard tools
- Document findings with clear risk ratings and technical detail suitable for both security teams and business stakeholders
- Research emerging threats, security trends, and exploitation techniques relevant to our clients' environments
- Support remediation efforts by working with development, operations, and business teams to prioritize and close security gaps
- Maintain detailed records of assessments, findings, and remediation progress for compliance and audit purposes
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of vulnerability identification methodologies, security frameworks (NIST, CIS), and threat modeling
- Experience with vulnerability scanning platforms, penetration testing tools, and security analysis software
- Strong understanding of network architecture, operating systems, and common vulnerability types (CWE/CVSS)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate technical findings for non-technical audiences
- Relevant certifications such as CEH, OSCP, or GPEN are a plus
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
