About the Role

As a Mortgage Loan Officer at our Saint Andrews, Charleston County location, you'll be the trusted advisor guiding clients through one of the most important financial decisions of their lives. You'll originate and structure mortgage loans that meet each client's unique situation, from first-time homebuyers to experienced investors. Your role combines relationship-building expertise with product knowledge and an unwavering commitment to compliance and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Meet with prospective borrowers to understand their financial needs and explain available mortgage products, rates, and terms
• Gather and review financial documentation; verify credit, income, and asset information
• Process loan applications accurately and maintain detailed records throughout the origination process
• Maintain compliance with all federal and state lending regulations, including South Carolina mortgage lending requirements
• Build lasting client relationships that generate referrals and repeat business
• Collaborate with underwriting, closing, and servicing teams to ensure smooth loan delivery
• Stay current with market conditions, mortgage products, and industry regulations

What We're Looking For

• Valid Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS) mortgage loan officer license or ability to obtain one
• Proven track record in residential mortgage origination or mortgage sales
• Strong understanding of mortgage products, loan structures, and lending practices
