Mobile Engineer – AI Finance Agent

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization that is building next-generation mobile banking products. Our talent team is searching for experienced Mobile Engineers to join a high-performing product team focused on delivering seamless financial experiences across Android and iOS platforms.

This is a remote opportunity based in Germany. The role requires strong mobile development skills, product thinking, and the ability to ship quality features in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship mobile features for Android and/or iOS platforms
• Create intuitive mobile flows for financial services including payments, claims, and renewals
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to transform complex user journeys into polished mobile experiences
• Integrate APIs and handle edge cases, loading states, error handling, and production issues
• Improve app performance, reliability, crash rate, and overall user experience
• Support rapid product launches, experiments, and iterations across mobile features
• Maintain high standards for mobile product quality throughout the application

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of mobile development experience in Android, iOS, or both
• Strong expertise with Kotlin and/or Swift
• Proven track record of shipping production applications to real users
• Strong product sense and attention to mobile user experience
• Experience working with APIs, analytics, crash logs, and production feedback
• Fast, practical approach with ability to own work independently
• Portfolio of shipped work (app links, GitHub, screenshots) is highly valued
• Product-focused mindset—thinking beyond code to user flows and behaviour
• Care for smooth interactions, small details, and real-world user experience
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and ship without waiting for perfect specifications
• Strong ownership of production quality and reliability
• Clear communication about individual contributions versus team deliverables
• Must be based in Germany; strong English communication skills required
