About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential fintech client seeking a Mobile Developer to join their product engineering organization. This is a remote position based in Germany, working with global product teams to build next-generation consumer financial applications.

We're looking for experienced mobile engineers who can ship production-quality features across Android and iOS platforms, working from product requirements through to live customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship mobile features across Android, iOS, or cross-platform frameworks depending on your technical strengths
• Develop intuitive user journeys for core financial product features including onboarding, account management, payments, and money movement flows
• Take ownership of features from product problem definition through to shipped mobile experience
• Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, product managers, and technical teams to deliver reliable customer-facing functionality
• Improve application quality using production feedback, analytics, crash reporting, and user behavior data
• Contribute to raising standards for mobile user experience, reliability, and performance across the product suite

What We're Looking For

• Strong mobile development experience building for Android, iOS, or both platforms
• Proven track record shipping production mobile applications used by real customers
• Strong product sense, UX judgment, and attention to edge cases and error states
• Ability to work across API integration, release management, debugging, and production issue resolution
• Self-directed builder who can take ownership of features without requiring heavy oversight
• Portfolio of shipped work demonstrating impact: app store links, GitHub contributions, screenshots, or detailed project explanations
• Clear evidence of personally building, shipping, or scaling significant product features or systems
• Strong English communication skills for collaboration across global teams
• Must be currently based in Germany for this remote role

This role is not suitable for: Engineers who require fully defined tickets, developers who build features without considering user experience, candidates who ignore production quality issues like crashes or performance, or those who cannot move quickly in a startup-paced environment.
