Medical Lab Tech

P4P is hiring a Medical Laboratory Technician to work the evening shift (3pm–11pm) at our Bingham Farms location in Oakland County. This is a full-time opportunity to support patient care through precise, timely laboratory testing at a growing clinical laboratory.

About the Role

As a Medical Laboratory Technician with P4P, you'll perform essential diagnostic work that directly impacts patient outcomes. Working the 3pm–11pm shift, you'll process and analyze blood, urine, and other clinical specimens with attention to accuracy and efficiency. This role demands both technical precision and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of laboratory practice in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and analyze blood samples, urine specimens, and other patient materials using established protocols
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot clinical laboratory analyzers and testing equipment
• Record test results accurately and ensure timely reporting to support physician orders and patient care decisions
• Follow quality control procedures and maintain compliance with CLIA and laboratory safety standards
• Communicate findings with laboratory management and clinical staff as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Medical Laboratory Technician certification or equivalent clinical laboratory experience preferred
• Proficiency with laboratory equipment, analyzers, and laboratory information systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documenting and reporting results
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during the evening shift
• Knowledge of phlebotomy, specimen handling, and safe laboratory practices
• Reliable transportation and commitment to consistent attendance
