We are representing a confidential robotics technology client in the Stuttgart area who is building advanced AI-driven automation systems for industrial environments. Our talent team is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their engineering organization and contribute to the design and development of intelligent robotic systems.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems and components for AI-powered robotic platforms
• Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings suitable for fabrication and manufacturing
• Collaborate closely with electrical and software engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration
• Conduct mechanical simulations, performance testing, and design validation
• Optimize component designs for cost efficiency, manufacturability, and overall performance
• Support prototyping processes and iterate on designs based on testing outcomes
• Occasional travel (approximately 25%) may be required

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computational Mechanics, Engineering Science, or a related technical field
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical design, preferably within robotics or automation industries
• Experience in industrial design or special purpose machinery is a strong plus
• Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or equivalent tools
• Solid understanding of mechanical testing methodologies and prototyping workflows
• Strong knowledge of material properties, manufacturing methods, and mechanical system integration
• Willingness to travel domestically as needed
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across disciplines
