We're hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician II to support operations at our Glen Allen, Virginia hotel property. The Drury Plaza Hotel—11049 West Broad Street, Glen Allen, Virginia 23060-5937—is looking for a skilled, reliable technician to join our maintenance department and take ownership of facility upkeep and equipment reliability.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical equipment in guest rooms and common areas
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on building systems to prevent equipment failure and extend asset life
• Respond promptly to maintenance work orders and guest requests, prioritizing urgent issues
• Troubleshoot mechanical and technical problems, applying systematic approaches to resolve issues efficiently
• Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities that minimize guest disruption
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and document all repairs and preventative work completed
• Work both independently and collaboratively with the maintenance team to complete projects
• Follow safety protocols and hotel standards in all maintenance activities

What We're Looking For

• Proven hands-on experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar mechanical maintenance role
• Solid knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment independently
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Physical ability to lift, bend, climb, and work in various environments throughout the hotel
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to guest satisfaction
• Valid driver's license (preferred)
