About the Role
As a Full-Time Maintenance Technician with The Delmar Gardens Family, you'll be the backbone of our facility operations. Your work ensures that our skilled nursing and rehabilitation communities remain in top working condition—supporting our caregiving mission by maintaining safe, clean, and comfortable spaces where residents thrive.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility systems, equipment, and infrastructure
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and address urgent facility needs
- Conduct preventive maintenance to keep equipment functioning reliably and avoid downtime
- Maintain detailed logs of work completed and materials used
- Keep work areas clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident care and comfort
Shift Availability
We're hiring for two shift options: Full-Time Day Shift at Garden Villas, and Full-Time Evening Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) at Delmar Gardens on the Green.
What We're Looking For
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, or general facility maintenance
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Reliable, professional attitude and willingness to learn
- Valid driver's license (preferred)
