Maintenance Tech II – Lost Canyon

Younglife is hiring a Maintenance Tech II to support the full-time operations of Lost Canyon, our youth facility near Williams, Arizona. In this essential hands-on role, you'll maintain critical systems and infrastructure that keep our camp running smoothly and safely for the young people we serve.

Role Overview

As a Maintenance Tech II at Lost Canyon in Williams, you'll take ownership of facility maintenance and repairs across our camp operations. Working both independently and collaboratively with our operations team, you'll troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventive maintenance, and respond promptly to facility needs. This is a full-time position based on-site at our Williams, AZ location.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general equipment
• Diagnose and repair facility issues, prioritizing urgent maintenance requests and emergency repairs
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and document all work performed
• Ensure facility safety standards and building codes are met across the property
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are needed
• Support seasonal operational demands and help prepare facilities for youth programs and events

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar hands-on technical position
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general facility maintenance
• Ability to diagnose problems independently and work with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
• Willingness to respond to maintenance emergencies and adapt to seasonal facility needs
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
