Lucid Motors is hiring a Maintenance Manager to oversee equipment and support manufacturing excellence at our facility in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to maintaining asset performance and production flow.

What This Role Involves

As Maintenance Manager at Lucid Motors, you'll lead a comprehensive maintenance function across our manufacturing operations. You'll develop and execute strategies that keep production systems running at peak performance, while supporting new program launches, production scaling, and continuous operational improvement. This role bridges maintenance, manufacturing engineering, and production planning to drive both equipment reliability and business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs for production equipment systems
  • Manage commissioning, validation, and readiness activities for new equipment and product launches
  • Supervise and develop teams of maintenance engineers, technicians, and specialists
  • Analyze equipment performance data to improve mean time between failures (MTBF) and mean time to repair (MTTR)
  • Conduct failure investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurring equipment issues
  • Monitor maintenance KPIs including uptime, downtime response times, and cost performance
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and facilities teams on process improvements and design-for-manufacturing reviews
  • Ensure all maintenance work meets safety, environmental, and regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent field
  • 8–10 years of hands-on maintenance engineering or manufacturing operations experience in automotive or similar high-volume production environments
  • Demonstrated proficiency with automation systems, robotics, PLC controls, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Proven success leading and developing technical maintenance teams in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong analytical skills and structured problem-solving capability
  • Ability to manage competing priorities during production launches and ramp-up phases
  • Willingness to support off-shift and weekend work as needed during critical production periods
