LocumJobsNetwork is partnering with CompHealth to secure a skilled Obstetrics and Gynecology physician for temporary assignments in Russellville, AR. This full‑time locum opportunity offers flexibility, with engagements ranging from single‑day coverage to extended contracts, and the chance to serve a diverse patient population in a community‑focused setting.

What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive obstetric care, including prenatal visits, labor and delivery management, and postpartum follow‑up.
• Perform routine and complex gynecologic procedures such as hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and colposcopies.
• Manage obstetric emergencies, including hemorrhage, preeclampsia, and fetal distress, in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, midwives, and ancillary teams to ensure seamless patient handoffs and continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records while adhering to coding and billing standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and quality improvement initiatives as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Active, unrestricted Arkansas medical license (or eligibility for licensure).
• Demonstrated experience in both low‑risk and high‑risk obstetrics.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems and ability to adapt quickly to new platforms.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering compassionate, patient‑centered care.
• Availability to begin assignments as soon as possible (ASAP).
