About the Role
Host Healthcare is hiring a registered nurse for a local contract Labor and Delivery position in Winslow, Arizona. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you'll deliver compassionate, expert care to expectant mothers and newborns within a busy maternity unit, working alongside a dedicated clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Assist physicians and care teams during routine and high-acuity deliveries
- Educate and reassure patients and their families across each stage of childbirth
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in line with facility standards
- Work collaboratively during 12-hour night shifts to ensure continuity of patient care
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Arizona
- Specialty experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
- Availability to commit to a 13-week contract starting on or around July 2, 2026
- Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts totaling 36 hours weekly
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced obstetric care environment
