About the Role
As a Local Class A Company Driver in Atlanta, you will run a dedicated FedEx lane hauling doubles between Atlanta and Jacksonville and back. This is a solo, W2 day-shift position operating dry vans, built for drivers who value a consistent route and a reliable home-daily schedule out of Jonesboro, Clayton County.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A vehicle pulling doubles on a dedicated Atlanta-to-Jacksonville round trip.
- Safely transport dry van freight on a fixed FedEx lane.
- Complete daily runs on a consistent day shift and return home every day.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and follow DOT and company safety standards.
- Keep accurate trip records while maintaining dependable, on-time delivery service.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Experience and comfort operating doubles is strongly preferred.
- Eligibility to work as a W2 employee in the United States.
- A clean, safety-minded driving record and professional, reliable work habits.
- Willingness to run a solo, dedicated lane on a daytime schedule.
