LNG Operations Technician I/II/III (I&E Focused)

Williams is hiring an LNG Operations Technician I/II/III with an Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) focus to help keep liquefied natural gas facilities running safely and reliably across our US operations. About the Role

As an LNG Operations Technician (I&E Focused) at Williams, you'll support the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of LNG processing and storage equipment. The position is offered at multiple experience tiers (I, II, and III), so responsibilities scale with your background and certifications. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain LNG facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant performance.
• Install, calibrate, inspect, and repair instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance in line with established procedures and safety standards.
• Document readings, work performed, and equipment conditions accurately.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to support continuous, reliable plant performance.

Qualifications

• Experience or training in instrumentation and electrical (I&E) systems, ideally within LNG, gas processing, or a related industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of control systems, electrical troubleshooting, and process equipment appropriate to the role level (I, II, or III).
• Strong commitment to workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and operational discipline.
• Ability to read technical drawings, interpret procedures, and work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to work on-site at a US-based LNG facility.
