About the Role
We're hiring experienced and reliable Paving Operators to join our growing team. You'll operate specialized paving equipment and machinery on residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects throughout the Clinton area and surrounding Prince George's County region. This hands-on role is central to delivering quality asphalt surfaces that meet strict construction standards.
What You'll Do
- Operate asphalt paving machines and compaction equipment with precision and care
- Position and guide paving equipment to lay asphalt at specified grades and thicknesses
- Monitor equipment function and coordinate with crew members during paving operations
- Maintain and perform routine maintenance on paving equipment
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work site
- Work collaboratively with construction crews to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Adjust settings and troubleshoot equipment issues on the job
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proven experience operating paving equipment or heavy machinery
- Physical capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong understanding of safety requirements and jobsite protocols
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work as part of a cohesive construction crew
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
