Senior Project Manager, Healthcare

About the Role

As Senior Project Manager for Healthcare at Stantec, you'll oversee integrated design projects serving the healthcare sector, coordinating multidisciplinary teams through planning, design, and delivery phases. You'll work with clients to define project scope, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure excellence across architectural, engineering, and sustainability components.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end project management for healthcare facility design and construction initiatives
• Coordinate collaboration among architects, engineers, interior designers, sustainability specialists, and technical experts
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to meet client objectives
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and maintain communication across all project phases
• Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards, regulations, and design best practices
• Champion sustainable design principles and integrated delivery approaches on every project
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to project team development

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of project management experience, with substantial background in healthcare facility projects
• Proven ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary teams and large-scale integrated design initiatives
• Strong understanding of healthcare design requirements, building codes, and compliance standards
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Project management certification (PMP, DBIA, or similar) preferred
• Experience with design and construction delivery methods (design-bid-build, design-build, IPD)
• Track record of on-time and on-budget project delivery
