LifeStance Health is hiring a full-time licensed mental health therapist in Merced, CA — an opportunity to deliver direct clinical care to individuals and families seeking evidence-based mental health treatment in a modern, team-oriented setting. As a licensed mental health professional, you'll help clients navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns while working alongside psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and care coordinators in an integrated healthcare environment.

What You'll Do

• Conduct individual therapy and counseling sessions using evidence-based approaches
• Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
• Maintain thorough, timely clinical documentation and clinical notes
• Monitor client progress, adjust treatment strategies, and measure clinical outcomes
• Participate in care coordination with the broader clinical team, including psychiatrists and primary care providers
• Respond compassionately to clients in crisis and implement safety protocols as needed
• Build and maintain a consistent therapeutic caseload in the Merced area

What We're Looking For

• Active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC) in California
• Minimum 1–2 years of direct clinical experience in mental health treatment
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and presenting concerns
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Comfort with electronic health records and clinical documentation software
• Genuine commitment to expanding access to mental healthcare
