Leiter Finanzbuchhaltung (w/m/d) in Stuttgart-City (Homeoffice-Anteil)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential organization in Stuttgart's city center that operates in a sustainable industry sector. This role oversees financial accounting for the parent company and multiple subsidiaries.

• Lead the financial accounting function across the main entity and subsidiary companies
• Manage and support a team of five accounting professionals, serving as their primary point of contact
• Own responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings prepared under HGB standards
• Actively participate in day-to-day operations alongside your team
• Drive continuous process optimization initiatives, including AI-supported solutions
• Additional responsibilities may be defined based on your background and career interests

What We're Looking For

• Minimum four years of experience in a comparable accounting role with independent responsibility for financial statement preparation
• Prior team leadership experience, whether in a disciplinary or functional capacity
• Demonstrated experience in process optimization projects, particularly those incorporating AI technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German
• Strong collaborative mindset and genuine interest in professional development

The role includes 30 vacation days, core hours Monday-Thursday 9:00-16:00 (Friday until 13:00), public transit pass, supplemental health insurance, accident insurance, and pension contributions.
