Responsibilities

Our talent team is representing a confidential mid-sized manufacturing organization in the Bodensee region. In this position, you will lead production controlling for the group, manage a small team, and serve as the controlling interface across international subsidiaries.

• Analyze manufacturing costs and processes, develop relevant KPIs, and derive actionable recommendations including responsibility for daily and batch-based production accounting
• Manage cost and performance accounting, oversee calculation of production costs, and create transparency through plan-actual comparisons and variance analysis
• Provide controlling support for foreign subsidiaries: validate results, track KPIs and measures, and harmonize controlling standards group-wide
• Prepare and comment on monthly reporting and actively contribute to budget planning and forecasts
• Refine methods and processes, support audits and ERP projects, and collaborate closely with production, procurement, sales, finance, and international locations
• Lead the team, set clear priorities, and remain hands-on in day-to-day operations

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree or comparable advanced qualification, plus at least five years of controlling experience
• Solid experience in production controlling and cost accounting, ideally from a manufacturing environment
• Initial leadership experience is desirable
• Confident use of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Infor M3, Microsoft Dynamics) and common controlling/BI tools, as well as complex data sets
• Very good German and English skills
• Analytical yet pragmatic, clear in communication, team-oriented, and solution-focused
