VIRTUA is seeking a dependable Lead Environmental Service Worker for a 2nd shift, part-time schedule of 32 hours per week at our Marlton location in Burlington County. In this hands-on leadership role, you will help uphold the clean, safe, and welcoming surroundings that patients, visitors, and staff depend on every day.

About the Role

As a Lead Environmental Service Worker, you serve as the primary point of contact for your department whenever the manager is unavailable. Working the second shift in Marlton, Burlington County, you combine frontline cleaning expertise with day-to-day team leadership to keep environmental services running smoothly and to standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Open and coordinate shifts, guiding and directing fellow team members when the manager is off-site.
• Support the onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training of environmental service staff.
• Track the distribution of supplies and help keep inventory levels accurate and well stocked.
• Carry out quality, safety, and program audits, then follow through on any corrective actions needed.
• Receive and respond to requests, concerns, and service needs across the department.
• Maintain a consistently safe and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and employees.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in environmental services, custodial work, or a comparable cleaning and sanitation setting.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and direct a team during the absence of a manager.
• Strong attention to detail with a solid grasp of safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
• Availability to reliably work a 2nd shift, part-time schedule of 32 hours per week.
• Effective communication skills and a service-minded, dependable approach to the job.
