About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology solutions organization with operations across multiple global markets. Our talent team is seeking an experienced Laravel Developer to join their India-based engineering team. This role is ideal for a backend specialist who thrives on building scalable, secure web applications and solving complex architectural challenges.

Responsibilities

• Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers into robust backend systems
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules that support business-critical applications
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges at scale
• Design and integrate data storage solutions across multiple databases and data sources
• Create database schemas that accurately represent and support core business processes
• Ensure accessibility and security compliance across all backend components

What We're Looking For

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience with PHP web frameworks, specifically Laravel
• Deep understanding of the synchronous behavior of PHP and MVC design patterns
• Proficiency with front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming principles
• Experience with user authentication and authorization across multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Familiarity with common PHP and web server exploits and their remediation strategies
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable application architecture
• Hands-on experience integrating multiple data sources and databases into unified systems
• Working knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
• Awareness of PHP platform limitations and proven workarounds
• Proficient use of code versioning tools such as Git
• Immediate availability strongly preferred
