JANITOR (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Compass Group, North America is actively recruiting full-time and part-time Janitor positions in Cleveland, Bradley County. This is an immediate opportunity to join a dedicated facilities team serving the Cleveland City Schools community.

What You'll Do

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout assigned facilities
• Empty trash, recycling, and waste containers on schedule and according to protocol
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in various building spaces
• Dust and clean surfaces, fixtures, and equipment throughout the facility
• Report maintenance issues or facility concerns to supervisors
• Operate cleaning equipment and handle supplies safely and responsibly
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed cleaning procedures
• Physical capability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Reliable attendance and professional demeanor
• Willingness to learn facility-specific protocols and safety standards

Schedule & Locations

Full-time and part-time positions are available at Cleveland City Schools, 850 Raiders Drive, Cleveland, TN 37312. The schedule includes Monday through Friday hours with some weekend work. Specific scheduling details will be discussed at your interview. Additional positions are available at other locations throughout the school district.
