IT-Systemadministrator (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology organization in Munich seeking an IT System Administrator to take ownership of their IT infrastructure operations and drive continuous improvement.

In this role, you will:

• Administer, maintain, and develop the server and network landscape
• Take responsibility for backup, monitoring, and security concepts
• Plan and implement IT projects including migrations and rollouts
• Serve as the point of contact for 2nd and 3rd level support
• Document IT infrastructure and create operational concepts

What We're Looking For

Our client requires a candidate with:

• A completed degree in Computer Science or completed training in IT, or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in system administration
• Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, Nutanix)
• Hands-on experience with backup solutions, patch management, and IT security topics
• Independent, structured working style and strong team spirit
• German language proficiency for documentation and internal communication

The position is based in Munich with flexible working arrangements including home office options.
