About the Role

As an International PFAS Forensics Subject Matter Expert based in Syracuse, you will serve as a recognized authority on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), applying advanced forensic and environmental science to support projects of global significance. Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical leadership on PFAS forensics across international and domestic projects.
• Investigate sources, transport, and fate of PFAS contamination using forensic analytical approaches.
• Advise project teams and clients on PFAS characterization, assessment, and remediation strategies.
• Interpret complex environmental data and translate findings into clear, defensible conclusions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to shape technical direction and project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated subject matter expertise in PFAS forensics and environmental contamination science.
• Strong background in the investigation, sampling, and analysis of PFAS compounds.
• Experience advising on environmental forensics, remediation, or related technical disciplines.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills suited to an international scope of work.
