Industry Events Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization in their search for an Industry Events Manager. Our client is a remote-first technology company with a track record of growth and innovation. As their Industry Events Manager, you'll join a collaborative marketing team focused on driving customer engagement and achieving pipeline goals through strategic event programming.

This is a fully remote position based in the United States, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while coordinating high-impact industry events globally.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of global strategic third-party conferences, tradeshows, analyst events, and partner events
• Establish and execute the annual global industry events plan in collaboration with regional marketing teams
• Proactively manage event budgets, track expenditures, evaluate results against goals, and create purchase orders
• Coordinate all event logistics including timelines, project plans, venue management, registration, 1:1 meeting scheduling, booth logistics, speaker coordination, sponsorship deliverables, and shipping
• Assist in creating an Industry Events Playbook of best practices
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all event-related activities including budgets, vendor contracts, attendee lists, and post-event reports
• Manage and track campaign and event activities on global marketing calendars
• Track costs, assets, and resources with a data-driven approach to determine event ROI
• Manage lead reporting processes including timely lead uploading and tracking in Salesforce, campaign creation, and monitoring event registrations
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing team reports
• Support logistical execution of key internal events throughout the year as needed
• Occasional travel to events for onsite support (majority of work is pre-event)

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of event marketing and industry events experience with a B2B tech company
• Proven track record working with B2B sales organizations to build and deliver pipeline results
• Strong project management skills with ability to complete projects on-time and on-budget while managing multiple competing deadlines
• Exceptional attention to detail and effective event coordination skills
• Clear, collaborative communication skills (verbal and written) with strong listening and information gathering abilities
• Start-up level flexibility and comfort working in fast-paced environments where change is constant
• Experience with Salesforce including lead imports, campaign tracking, and reporting
• BA/BS or equivalent in Marketing, Business, or related degree
• Comfortable with up to 25% travel
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (our client does not sponsor F1 or H-1B visas)
