In-Home Behavior Therapist (BT) / RBT Trainee

ABA Journey is hiring an In-Home Behavior Therapist (BT) / RBT Trainee in Sandy Springs, Fulton County to deliver evidence-based behavioral interventions to children in their home environments. If you're beginning your career in applied behavior analysis and want to develop clinical skills while pursuing your professional certification, this full-time role offers hands-on training with experienced supervision.

What This Role Involves

As an In-Home Behavior Therapist trainee at ABA Journey, you'll work directly with families in the Sandy Springs area, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans guided by your clinical team. This position is built to help you develop competency across the range of applied behavior analysis techniques used in pediatric settings, with structured support as you work toward your RBT certification.

Core Duties

• Conduct in-home behavior therapy sessions with children following established treatment protocols and clinical supervision
• Implement behavior modification strategies and collect behavioral data during sessions
• Maintain detailed session notes and progress documentation
• Collaborate with your supervising clinician to adjust approaches based on client progress
• Participate in ongoing competency training and professional development activities
• Communicate progress and observations with families and the clinical team

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Willingness to pursue RBT certification or equivalent ABA credential
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in home-based settings while maintaining clinical alignment
• Reliable transportation to client homes in the Sandy Springs and surrounding Fulton County areas
• Compassion for children and commitment to evidence-based behavioral health practice
• Flexibility and adaptability when working in diverse family environments
