HVAC Controls – Building Systems Analyst II

ENFRA is hiring a full-time Building Systems Analyst II specializing in HVAC controls in Uptown, Marion County. This is a hands-on technical role for someone with solid experience in building automation systems who's ready to expand their impact on complex mechanical systems and drive operational efficiency.

About the Role

As a Building Systems Analyst II focused on HVAC Controls, you'll design, analyze, and optimize heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial and industrial buildings. You'll work with control logic, sensor networks, and automation platforms to ensure efficient climate management and energy performance across our portfolio. This intermediate-level position blends technical depth with mentoring responsibilities as you help junior team members develop expertise in modern building control practices.

What You'll Do

• Develop and troubleshoot HVAC control sequences and logic to meet performance and efficiency standards
• Analyze building system data and sensor information to identify optimization opportunities and energy savings
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, controls contractors, and facility managers on system design and retrofits
• Document control strategies, system configurations, and commissioning procedures
• Support installation, startup, and commissioning of HVAC control systems in the field
• Review technical specifications and control requirements from architects and building owners
• Stay current with building automation standards, codes, and control technology advancements

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of professional experience with HVAC controls, building automation systems, or mechanical systems analysis
• Strong foundation in HVAC fundamentals, control loops, and energy management principles
• Hands-on experience with BMS platforms, control programming, or building system software
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings
• Strong technical writing and communication skills for documentation and cross-functional work
• Analytical mindset with comfort working in data-driven environments
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC, controls engineering, or equivalent professional experience
