About the Role

As an Associate Attorney with Ritsema Law, you will support the firm's litigation and advisory work on behalf of employers and insurance carriers throughout Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, Montana, New Mexico, and Florida. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Federal Heights, Adams County, ideal for an attorney who thrives in a team that prizes integrity, cooperation, and high-caliber work.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in workers' compensation matters across the firm's multi-state practice area
• Handle general liability cases on behalf of employers and insurance carriers
• Advise on and manage Medicare set-aside matters
• Conduct legal research, draft documents, and prepare cases with precision and attention to detail
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver thorough, client-focused legal counsel

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law, with the ability to be admitted in relevant jurisdictions
• Strong motivation and a detail-oriented approach to legal work
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical abilities
