Role Overview

As a Housekeeper at The Bristal Assisted Living, you're the backbone of our residential operations. Your meticulous attention to detail and work ethic ensure that our Massapequa Park community remains a welcoming, hygienic haven for seniors in our care. This full-time housekeeping role runs Sunday through Thursday, 8am to 4pm, giving you a consistent schedule and meaningful work in an assisted living environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize residents' rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to maintain the highest hygiene standards
• Perform routine dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface disinfection throughout the facility
• Change bed linens, including fitted and flat sheets, and refresh resident bedding
• Empty trash and recycling, and dispose of waste according to facility protocols
• Restock supplies such as towels, linens, and toiletries in assigned areas
• Report maintenance issues or hazards to supervisors promptly
• Maintain cleaning equipment and notify management of supply needs

What We're Looking For

• Proven housekeeping or general cleaning experience, in a residential or facility setting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Ability to work independently and follow a consistent schedule
• Physical capability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the day
• Reliable transportation to our Massapequa Park location
• Respectful, compassionate approach to working in a senior care community
• Willingness to work as part of a dedicated team supporting our residents
