Head of Talent at Retail Insights

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential events and media organization seeking a Head of Talent to take full ownership of their recruitment function. In this role, you will manage end-to-end hiring processes including role profiling, candidate sourcing, CV screening, assessment design, interview scripting, and conducting interviews across all seniority levels.

You will be responsible for building a compelling employer brand that attracts both active job seekers and passive candidates who may not be currently looking. A key focus will be developing and automating recruitment workflows to increase efficiency as the organization scales. You will also collaborate closely with leadership to enhance the onboarding experience for new hires.

This position reports directly to senior leadership and offers significant strategic input on talent acquisition priorities.

You should have:

• Demonstrated professional experience with a track record of outstanding performance
• UK work authorization (required)
• A natural ability to build rapport and make people feel comfortable
• Comfort engaging with diverse audiences through extensive interpersonal communication
• A proactive mindset with high urgency and strong execution skills
• Humility and a willingness to learn and develop continuously

The role is office-based Monday through Friday in central London near Victoria Station; remote work is not available. Start date is flexible.
