You'll lead global initiatives that connect patients with life-changing clinical research opportunities while pioneering digital innovation in trial recruitment. This position oversees enrollment strategy, patient engagement platforms, and technological advancement in how ICON recruits and supports participants worldwide.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute global patient recruitment strategies that accelerate trial enrollment and improve participant diversity
- Lead digital innovation initiatives including telemedicine integration, patient portal platforms, and recruitment technology solutions
- Build and mentor a high-performing team focused on patient engagement, retention, and experience across markets
- Partner with clinical operations, research sites, and trial sponsors to optimize recruitment workflows
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies that enhance patient communication and study participation
- Drive data-informed decision-making through analytics and performance metrics tracking
- Champion inclusive recruitment practices ensuring diverse patient access to clinical research opportunities
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years in clinical research, patient recruitment, or healthcare operations, with 3+ years in a leadership role
- Demonstrated success accelerating patient enrollment and launching effective recruitment campaigns
- Strong digital and technology background—familiarity with clinical trial platforms, digital health tools, or recruitment software
- Strategic leader who balances innovation with execution and drives organizational change
- Excellent communicator who builds credibility and influence across sites, teams, and stakeholder groups
- Commitment to patient-centric research and advancing diversity in clinical trial participation
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare, business, or related discipline (advanced degree a plus)
