Join ICON Clinical Research as a Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) in Tampa, Hillsborough County, and make an impact on groundbreaking oncology clinical trials. This is a full-time, on-site role where you'll oversee research sites across Georgia and Florida, ensuring the highest standards of regulatory compliance and protocol adherence.
About the Role
As a Senior CRA, you will serve as a key liaison between our sponsor partners and clinical trial sites, monitoring multiple sites to guarantee patient safety and data integrity throughout study execution. Your expertise will ensure that each site operates within regulatory requirements and maintains the rigorous standards that define ICON's commitment to advancing healthcare innovation.
What You'll Do
- Conduct regular monitoring visits to assigned clinical trial sites, reviewing protocols, case reports, and regulatory documentation
- Verify adherence to study protocols and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards at each site
- Identify and resolve protocol deviations, documenting findings and working collaboratively with site staff on corrective actions
- Audit patient enrollment, informed consent procedures, and safety reporting mechanisms
- Train site coordinators and investigators on trial requirements and regulatory expectations
- Maintain detailed monitoring reports and communicate findings to the clinical operations team
- Support site initiation and closeout activities, ensuring smooth trial operations
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of clinical research monitoring or site management experience
- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, ICH-GCP guidelines, and clinical trial operations
- Ability to manage multiple sites independently and communicate complex regulatory requirements clearly
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in high-paced environments
- Oncology clinical trial experience strongly preferred
- Professional demeanor and ability to build positive relationships with site staff
