About This Opportunity

We are representing a rapidly scaling fintech organization operating across emerging markets and international payment corridors. Our client is launching a new B2B product line and needs a hands-on operational leader to build the support infrastructure from the ground up.

This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role for someone who thrives on ownership and wants to directly drive outcomes rather than coordinate across teams. You'll be building AI-native account management and operational excellence for business customers whose payroll and supplier payments depend on flawless execution.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and run end-to-end support operations for a B2B payments product
• Develop and maintain AI-powered workflows and automations that reduce manual effort and improve customer retention
• Take operational functions from zero to scale, establishing processes that grow without bureaucracy
• Set performance standards, playbooks, and KPIs for BPO partners and maintain quality bars
• Identify customer pain points, automate solutions, and work with product teams to fix issues at scale
• Structure complex problems through ad hoc analysis and data-driven decision making
• Act as Product Operations for the business line: translate customer feedback into evidenced product priorities
• Own launch readiness for new products and geographies, from preparation through steady-state automation
• Manage and optimize support budget as volume and complexity increase

What We're Looking For

• 5-7+ years in fast-paced, analytical environments with proven high performance
• Direct B2B account management, customer success, or business operations experience serving SME/business customers
• Deep understanding of what business customers expect and what it takes to deliver consistently
• Strong ownership mentality—you tackle hard problems end-to-end and ship improvements constantly
• Comfortable using SQL daily to drive decisions and conduct analysis
• Willingness to build and iterate on AI-powered workflows and automation tools
• No task too small attitude—you dive into details regardless of the tool or problem
• Instinct for adding "just enough" process to enable scaling without creating bureaucracy
• Comfortable operating in a regulated, 24/7 business environment where stakes are high for customers
• Based in London and able to work from the office
