What This Role Involves
- Conducting site surveys and field inspections to locate and document underground telecom assets, including cables and conduits
- Using advanced locating equipment and software to ensure accurate and safe identification of telecom infrastructure
- Preparing detailed reports and maps of telecom assets for engineering and maintenance teams
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide accurate and timely data for project planning and execution
Key Responsibilities
- Performing regular site visits to locate and mark telecom assets
- Using specialized equipment like ground-penetrating radar (GPR) and electromagnetic locators to identify underground cables and conduits
- Creating and maintaining accurate records of telecom asset locations and conditions
- Providing training and support to field staff on the proper use of locating equipment
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices in the field
What You Bring
