What This Role Involves

As a Group Instructor and Coach at Life Time, you'll lead engaging group fitness sessions using our signature training methodologies. This role is perfect for fitness professionals who thrive on building community, motivating diverse members, and creating an energetic, inclusive fitness environment. Whether your strength is high-intensity conditioning, Olympic weightlifting techniques, Reformer-based training, sprint coaching, or holistic mind-body disciplines, you'll have the platform to showcase your expertise while advancing member fitness goals.

Core Duties

• Design and deliver group training sessions that align with Life Time's premier fitness formats and member expectations
• Demonstrate proper exercise technique, form correction, and programming modifications for varying fitness levels
• Build rapport with participants, provide motivation and accountability, and foster a supportive fitness community
• Maintain equipment safety standards and ensure class environments are clean, organized, and welcoming
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate scheduling, share best practices, and continuously enhance member experience
• Track member progress, gather feedback, and adjust programming to maximize engagement and results

What We're Looking For

• Current fitness certification from a recognized organization (ACE, NASM, ISSA, CrossFit, or equivalent)
• Demonstrated expertise in at least one signature Life Time training format—sprint coaching, Olympic lifting, bootcamp conditioning, Reformer training, or mind-body performance
• Strong communication and coaching presence; ability to energize and motivate diverse fitness levels simultaneously
• CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Reliable, professional, and passionate about member wellness and fitness community building
